RUBBER

It has a balanced combination of properties that make it the best multi-function rubber. It may also be used in outdoor applications, as it has a good resistance to temperature changes, ozone action and adverse weather conditions.

Neoprene rubber sheet has excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, oil resistance, etc. It has a very wide range of applications, which can be used both as a general-purpose rubber and can be used as special rubber.

White food quality neoprene rubber sheeting has good mechanical strength, abrasion resistance and tear resistance and is preferable for contact with animal or vegetable fats and greases.

  • Good mechanical and abrasion properties.
  • Reasonable resilience in grades over 60º Shore A.
  • Good resistance to heat, ozone and weathering.
  • Flame retardant grades available.
  • Good adhesion to metal.
  • Temperature range: -25º C to +125º C.
  • Resistance to chemicals; resistant to inorganic chemical products , except oxidising acids and halogens. Moderate resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbons.

Industrial maintenance, (oils and chemicals), food industry, sealing, bearings.

Aerospace, bearing & conveyor, food, furniture, packaging, paper, plastics, printing, textiles.

Sheeting

Sheets: 1 mm to 50 mm x 1 metre x 1 metre

Silicone rubber sheeting is physiologically inert, thus making it the preferred choice of the medical, pharmaceutical and food processing industries. It also maintains its stability in extreme environments, and its operative properties remain invariable over a wide temperature range, making it useful for a large number of industrial applications in the automotive, electronics and lighting sectors, amongst others.

  • Extreme heat & cold resistance (- 80°C to + 250°C)
  • High release from sticky materials
  • Resistance to weathering, chemicals and to lubricating oils
  • Mildew & fungus resistance
  • Outstanding electrical insulation
  • Food grade
  • Remains flexible at low temperatures of -70°C

Gaskets, seals, wire & insulation, hot gas and liquid conduits, conveyor belts, radomes, reflectors, surgical & prosthetic devices, caulking, sealing & encapsulation.

Aerospace, bearing & conveyor, food, furniture, packaging, paper, plastics, printing, textiles.
